Mapbox maps require logo and text attribution. Using the plugin settings you can display the logo and text attributions in either of the four corners of the map. You can also change the text attribute type from Standard to Compact version.

For example, the map on this page shows the Mapbox logo displayed in the bottom left corner, and a compact version of the text attribute in the bottom right corner.
